Midwestern newcomer Sabatahj is the heir to an age-old tradition. With a vast imagination, the young adept multi-instrumentalist, producer, rapper, singer, and songwriter out of New Albany, Indiana has retooled smooth '90s RnB with '80s funk grooves in his latest single, "Old Skoo," which he shares today exclusively via The FADER. With Zapp and Roger-inspired talk-box melodies and sensual southern finesse, the song is a slow ride, retro-futuristic tale about a man trying to convince his lady friend into taking a joyride. "Old Skoo" follows the success of Sabatahj's 2013 cult-championed Guilty Pleasures mixtape.
