Best known for his hit with Nas, “Just A Moment," rapper, singer/songwriter, self-taught multi-instrumentalist and producer, Don Ferquan (aka Quan) recently broke his years of silence with the release of his new mixtape www.donferquan.com, under his own imprint Kingz Nation. Today we get the music video for Quan's flip of Rico Richie's street banger "Poppin," the second of 11 tracks on the new project. Directed by Chip Stackin’ of No Days Off, the video is the first set of visuals for www.donferquan.com, which features high-profile guests such as Pusha T, Ace Hood, Emilio Rojas, Rapper Big Pooh, and more.
Aside from various loose singles, placement of his song "Amerikka's Pie" on season five of the HBO hit show The Wire, and a 2011 run with a guest feature on Asher Roth's hit "Summer Time," www.donferquan.com is Quan's first project since his 2011 mixtape The Struggle. In the interim, the Newport News, VA native and former signee of Nas' Ill Will Records has been busy putting the finishing touches on his new album Point Of No Return and penning his memoir The Thirst.
